Crypt of San Salvatore
It is one of the most interesting in the Hydruntina area and it dates back to the 7th-10th century, originally completely frescoed. On the central apse we can admire a fresco with a Madonna flanked by two angels. The ceiling reveals the great architectural ingenuity of the designers and reproduces a coffered ceiling, a Greek cross, a dome.
Giurdignano – Located in eastern Salento, close to the Capo d’Otranto, the village has one of the largest concentrations of dolmens and menhirs in Italy and is therefore known as the megalithic garden of Italy.
