Frassanito is a Salentine resort with a beach of fine sand, interrupted from time to time by polished bedrock, over two kilometres long, and also characterised by the crystal blue sea and the pinewood thick and lush at the back of the beach. The sandy expanse, occupied at 60% from equipped lidos and with 40% free beaches, is known for water sports such as “wind-surfing”, “kite-surfing” and “surf” ,fascinating sports that offer a good dose of adrenaline.
These sports, however, are practiced in a relatively small area, compared to the beach, that with a thick pine forest, bristling in defence by westerly winds, gives cool shade for picnics or for the many who do not like constant exposure to the sun. Frassanito is one of many beautiful beaches of the Salento peninsula, another characteristic is the presence of numerous campsites, making it the ideal destination for campers.
