Trolls like to party in Salento!

What have the Trolls in common with the people of Salento? Easy! They love to have fun and party together! The traditional inhabitants of the Scandinavian woods, in fact, would certainly move from the cold lands of northern Europe for a holiday full of fun and entertainment in Salento, their land of adoption.

We have thought to some ideal tours for Poppy, Branch and their companions for a wonderful holiday in Salento, far from those Bergen’s faces!

If you want to have fun in Salento, continue to read and spend … a holiday like a Troll!

Gallipoli and the Ionian coast

Landed to the airport, our people would immediately want to explore the beauties of Salento. Once settled in the comfortable villa m140, immersed in the hilly landscape of Tuglie, Poppy and friends would start an unforgettable party by the pool and in the garden, full of plants and trees (not to have homesickness!).

The next day, still wearing the after-effects of the party, our Trolls would go and have fun at the Splash!, the nearby aquapark of Gallipoli. And there, water slides, waterfalls, castles, inflatables and trampolines would make the day unforgettable!

The beautiful landscape of Gallipoli and the splendid Ionian coast would be the background of an exceptional holiday.

The Adriatic coast between fun and culture

Another tour that our Trolls would choose is the one set between Torre Dell’Orso, on the Adriatic coast, and the hinterland of Salento. We don’t have to forget the ancient and magical origins of our guests and for this reason we thought that a tour in a huge archaeological park surrounded by nature would be really fascinating for them.

Villa code m595

For Princess Poppy we thought about the enchanting masseria, m595, in Carpignano Salentino, where she could spend her holidays. Every Troll could sleep in one of the characteristic bedrooms obtained from ancient trulli and pajare. And the pool would always be the ideal place for their big parties.

We can only imagine the enchanted face that Poppy would do once she visits the Kalòs Archeodrome, nearby Caprarica. The park is the largest open-air museum in Italy: in 12 hectares 6 historical periods have been rebuilt: the protohistory, the village of the Bronze Age, the Messapian city, the Roman world, the medieval village and the peasant civilization. A nice opportunity for the Trolls to learn about the roots of the people who host them!

Villa code m133

Still on the Adriatic coast, our friends could not help to go for a swim in the crystal clear sea of Torre Dell’Orso and sunbathe on the fine sandy beach. Here, the perfect villa for them is the m133, with the swimming pool and the lovely games house built in wood in the garden to experience fantastic adventures.

A few steps from the villa, they would find a spectacular playground in the air: i Giardini del Sole. There, Branch could challenge his companions to play to mini-golf games or to do go-kart races, while Poppy and her friends would go shopping in the nearby markets.

Grande Salento – a tour near Brindisi and Taranto

Archery, pentathlon, labyrinths and a house of the Gods. our friends come from the ancient world and would like to visit Arkeogiochi di Leporano (Ta). It is a theme park for children and families with games and attractions related to the ancient world, within the Archaeological Park of Saturo.

Here, the Trolls would be thrilled to discover the roots of the Western world, visiting the Acropolis with the remains of the Greek Sanctuary dedicated to the Goddess Athena (VII-IV BC), the protohistoric walls, and the Roman villa of the Imperial age, with thermal baths public and housing (I-III AD).

Villa code m270

To be closer to the Park, Poppy & co. could stay in the brand new m270 villa in San Pietro in Bevagna. There, there would be space for everyone, thanks to the 3 bedrooms and the 3 bathrooms. Great dips in the pool and sumptuous parties in the garden await for them.

But the most beautiful villa, the one that would make our friends fall in love, is m139, in Ceglie Messapica. A restored farmhouse of 1800, immersed in the olive grove, with private pool and trulli would be the ideal place to gather all the cheerful gang. With six bedrooms, the villa is large 10000sqm: the perfect retreat to hide from the Bergen!

And in the surroundings of the farm there would certainly be entertainment.

In fact, at Cellino San Marco, our friends could visit the aquapark “Carrisiland“, among water games and the 60-hectare forest area with different fairy-tale environments.

Also in the Brindisi area, our friends would be happy to try the adventurous activities of the “Ciuchino Birichino” park in Ostuni. Between trekking, orienteering, tree climbing and flying among the oak fronds they would certainly feel at home!
