The news is extremely important, a statement that puts an end to the doubts about a possible summer in a swimsuit, towel, mask and gloves.
The news comes after the optimism generated by the drop in the number of cases, as demonstrated by the daily “Sole24ore” here https://lab24.ilsole24ore.com/coronavirus/
On the evening of March 31, Lopalco would have reached by the phone Michele Emiliano, the Apulia Governor. After expressing his satisfaction for how the regional system of Health is managing the epidemic, Lopalco would have thought about a theory: from laboratory studies, they know that the pathogen doesn’t survive at a temperature above 26-27 degrees (outdoor). In Salento that one is the temperature of the water in summertime.

So it might be realistic to think that the sun will defeat the virus. Many are convinced of this analysis. For this reason, the restrictive measures will gradually decrease after Easter (which will truly be of Resurrection!), and they might end in late April / early May. In the South, in that season, the virus might no longer be able to infect. However, they will have to find a vaccine before Autumn, otherwise the problem will recur later in November.
So we are all ready for a beautiful summer in Salento .. 😉
This happy news is not entirely true … that is, Lopalco did not call Emiliano on the evening of 3/31/20 to communicate these thoughts.
Today is April Fool’s Day, when, traditionally, you are allowed to fool around with words, images and more 🙂
But the news, perhaps, contains a seed of truth, as you can read in the following articles, published in March:

So LET’S HOPE and let’s keep being OPTIMISTS, because:
To be optimistic means to have a favorable attitude, which let you keep hoping, even in adverse circumstances. The word derives from the French “optimisme”, which takes its origin from Latin “optimus” (excellent). The latter always refers to the verb “ops, opis” in Latin, whose meanings are: power, authority, help, wealth, resources.
We must always be optimistic because this attitude helps us, allowing us to count on our best resources. At the same time, we have to equip ourselves with every necessary tool to face the worst case scenario (“Si vis pacem para bellum”), but we always have to do this with OPTIMISM
