Seasoned with breadcrumbs, peppers are a tasty side dish made with vegetables that are well suited to any type of meal. It is a recipe of the rural tradition of Salento. Here they are some tips on how to cook this dish.

PEPPERS WITH BREADCRUMBS
1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons of pecorino cheese
Extra virgin olive oil
Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and the internal filaments, then cut them into slices and fry them in a pan, where you will have heated the oil. Remove a part of the oil and sprinkle the breadcrumbs, the capers, the pecorino cheese, the oregano and a pinch of salt onto the peppers.
Stir accurately, cook the peppers for other 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then serve them.
