It is good for aperitifs and ideal for a snack. It takes a few simple steps to cook it.
Ingredients for 8:
4 rolls of puff pastry (920gr)
30 gr of tomato sauce
35 gr of mozzarella
Extra virgin olive oil
Ingredients for the bechamel
200 ml of whole milk
20 grams of 00 flour
20 grams of butter
Take the rolls of puff pastry, roll out and cut out about sixteen circles with a diameter of 10 cm, and eight smaller ones, with a diameter of 7 cm.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place ten circles of puff pastry, brush them with beaten egg and place another circle of the same size on them.
In the center of each circle, put a tablespoon of tomato sauce, mozzarella and béchamel sauce. Line each circle with the smaller ones and close the edges well with a fork. Brush each rustico with another beaten egg and bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
